Since 1999, Todd Manderson has been Ballston Spa Country Club’s Golf Director and PGA Playing & Teaching Professional. He has brought new ideas to the club each year for the past 20 years. He and his staff do their best to make each and every round for the Member to be enjoyable so they can't wait to get back to their club to do all over again. They have brought many programs to the facility to involve all members and their levels of players to accommodate them for a very enjoyable round. They have tirelessly promoted the game of golf and have been a significant factor in the growth of the Ballston Spa Country Club Membership.
Todd attends the annual PGA Merchandise Show where he buys the latest in Men’s and Women’s golf attire, as well as stocking the best golf equipment available and is in tune with all of the latest golfing trends. We use a Real Time Tournament Software Program in Golf Genius that has turned out to be a great asset to all of our Members and the outside events.
We have stayed current with the trends of merchandise and technology using the GHIN App, our own Ballston Spa Country Club App, and the Golf Genius App to help the growth of the game. We have developed a very successful Men's League and Women's League using our tournament software keeping results current as soon as the scores are posted. We have developed a Golf Academy for not only golf instruction and coaching, there is availability for fitness training year round.
He has won the NENY PGA Public Merchandising Award several times and once you see his Golf Shop, you’ll understand why.
Todd and his staff also offer first class PGA Professional lessons with video analysis and in depth Coaching specifically to the students ability and range of motion. Our philosophy is to grow the game of golf and to make it the most fun for each and every member to the best of our knowledge. With over 31 years as a PGA Golf Professional, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and very much enjoy passing this on to all who love the game.
