Ballston Spa Country Club was
established in 1925, during golf's Golden Age of
course architecture, when course design icons
such
as Donald Ross and Alistair McKenzie were creating
some of America's classic golf layouts.
BSCC is an exemplary parkland
design with greens and fairways that typify
courses of this age. Playing at a par of 71
for men and 74 for women, it is a golfing
experience that will challenge and reward golfers
at all skill levels. Stop in and request a
course tour, or better yet, play a round.
We'd be proud to show you what you're missing.
As well as having a layout that
offers 18 completely unique holes of golf,
Ballston Spa Country Club has maintained a
reputation of being one of the best maintained
golf courses in the area. This status was
further enhanced when BSCC acquired the services
of Steve Solsky in 2005, as our Course
Superintendent.
Steve was formerly employed
under Craig Currier as the Superintendent at the
Bethpage Black course on Long Island, site of the
2002 and 2009 United States Open. In the few
years Steve has been with us, he has brought about
significant improvements on a course already
considered one of the best conditioned tracks in
the Saratoga area.
In addition to a quality
facility, Ballston Spa Country Club offers you, as
a Member, the means to
hone your golf skills, with a practice range and
two chipping and putting greens.
During the season, tournaments
include formats for women, men and children.
In-house leagues for men, women and seniors are
also available and are an excellent means of
meeting other Members and setting up weekly
foursomes.
