Head Golf Professional – Michael Decker, PGA


Ballston Spa Country Club is proud to feature the leadership and expertise of Michael Decker, PGA, our Head Golf Professional. Michael brings a strong blend of regional experience, instructional excellence, and merchandising talent to the BSCC golf community.


Michael previously served as Head Golf Professional at McGregor Links Country Club in Wilton, NY, beginning in 2021. He is a former NENY PGA Merchandiser of the Year and is widely recognized for founding and developing the largest PGA Junior League program in the Northeastern New York Section. His commitment to player development, member engagement, and operational quality continues to shape the golfer experience at Ballston Spa Country Club.

Michael’s approach centers on creating a welcoming, well‑run, and enjoyable golf environment for players of all ages and skill levels. His background in tournament operations, junior programming, teaching, and shop management ensures that members and guests receive knowledgeable support both on and off the course.
