Thursday Night Women's League


The Thursday Night Women’s League has approximately 32-40 players, divided into multiple flights and playing match play within flights. Tee times range from 4:10 PM to 5:40 PM, depending on the number of players. League dues are payable in the Golf Shop. A listing of flight Members, weekly match opponents, and scheduled tee times is provided at the beginning of the season. For information on joining, please contact the Golf Shop.


Tuesday Night Men's League


The Tuesday Men’s League welcomes approximately 60-80 Members each season. Running for about 16 weeks, the season typically begins in late April. Each week features a match against a fellow Member with a similar handicap index. Weekly match schedules are determined at the start of the season and are available in the Golf Shop. Tee times are scheduled between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM. For those interested in joining, please contact the Golf Shop for more details. A league fee is required, which is used entirely to fund prize money (issued as Golf Shop credit) and to cover the costs of an end-of-season outing.


Men's Senior League


The Men’s Senior League will be starting in April. We tee off at 8 am on Thursday mornings. As always please sign up via Golf Genius. You will receive an email from the Golf Shop th Handicap. The maximum course handicap any player will receive is a 36.


  • Pace: In order to keep pace of play, if a player is out of the hole, she will be encouraged to pick up her ball and give up the hole. Please use the ESC method for scoring. Adjusting Hole Scores for Equitable Stroke Control (ESC)TM Q. What is the current method for adjusting my hole scores under Equitable Stroke Control (ESC)? A. ESC is an adjustment of individual hole scores (for handicap purposes) in order to make handicaps more representative of a player's potential ability. ESC is applied after the round and is only used when the actual score or the most likely score exceeds a player’s maximum number. ESC sets a limit to the number of strokes a player can take on a hole depending on Course HandicapTM. Apply ESC to all scores, including tournament scores. Below is the maximum number a player can take:

  • D-league match. Subs must be full members of BSCC and hold a verified handicap. Subs will play for the league member and the sub’s handicap will be used to determine points for the league member. Subs may not give or receive more than one stroke per hole from the opponent. Therefore, it is best to secure a sub whose handicap is similar to the league member. By retaining a sub, the absence will not be counted against the league member’s attendance. However, the sub will not earn attendance points. If you will be absent, please notify the pro shop, your opponent, and your foursome. If you have a sub, please let the Pro Shop know who is subbing for you, so a new score card can be made.
  • Prizes - All prizes are proshop credit, and they will be awarded at the end of each session.
  • League Outing –Sunday, September 16th. The outing is sponsored by Purdy’s Discount Wines and Liquors. 11:00 Modified Shot gun start . No additional cost to league players . All additional WGA members are welcome to participate for a $10 fee, which will go towards prize money.
